Could we run just one dog in the 65 mile skijor option?

      Hi Kiersten,
Thanks for your question. Unfortunately because of the isolated nature of parts of the trail, skijorers need to have at least two dogs to minimize the chance that you will be stranded if one dog becomes unable to run. Still time to practice with two (find one to borrow) and get trained up for the race! Also, please check out our skijor and pulk-making workshop on the 21st.
      Cheers,
      Kyla, Race Director

Thanks for the reply! I have a 8 month old pup who will be trained up to run with my adult dog next year. Hope to see you then!
